The Philosophy of Fitness and Active Lifestyle
The Marvel of Evolution
The human physical form is the Marvel of Evolution and a statement of nature’s perfection – superbly strong to perform its tasks, flexible, and energetic. Nature had nurtured it – and perfected it to withstand the rigors of a harsh environment and to maintain its status as the dominant species on this planet. It has been tuned for an active and demanding lifestyle that was needed to meet the challenges posed to it.
It is the King of the Evolutionary Kingdom. And, it sure has not reached the Throne by sitting lazily on its rear end! This wonder of nature has earned its ascend by proving its mental – out working and out smarting the rest of the pack.
The human physical form – in its natural state, has been conditioned to handle the challenges and threats posed to its supremacy in the evolutionary kingdom – it has been geared to withstand the demands and vigors of its kingly status. It has climbed up the evolutionary ladder to the top — fully aware of the fact that in the physical and mental lethargy does exist its demise.
But, past the long evolutionary path, the ‘modern’ human has lost touch with its origin.
The modern sedentary life style, adopted by most of us, is causing havoc to our physiological make-up. This life style is artificial, self-destructive, and injurious to our otherwise very strong physique. Nature has prepared us for the rigors of this world, but in our acquired state of laziness, we have chosen to surrender our natural prowesses that ensure our vigor and fitness.
A lazy life style, deprived of physical and mental stimuli, is the main cause of most of the diseases that afflict us. An inactive life’s gift is the lack of vigor and energy, depression and anxiety, and a state of mental confusion. Many of our modern ailments spring from this acquired state of mental lethargy and laziness
We need to realize that a certain level of physical activities and mental exercise is essential to maintain the physical fitness and mental alertness – worthy of the King of the Evolution.
It is either the strenght and fitness OR the elimination and extinction – There is no other way around it.
I will put my faith in the natural instinct of survival, and trust that you will opt for it too!
